Long time ago, there was a kingdom in
West Java. The country was led by a king. so people called him
Prabu. He is a good and wise king. No wonder, when the country was
prosperous and peaceful. There's no hungry people in the country.
All very nice. Unfortunately, Prabu and his
wife have not had children. It made the royal couple was very
sad. Prabu advisory suggested, that they adopt a child. But the King
and Queen do not agree. "For us, the biological child is better than
a foster child," they replied.
The boy grew into a tall adult. Therefore he
was called by the name of Kebo Iwa, which means uncle buffalo.
Queen often depressed and crying. Prabu, too
sad to see her .. Then Prabu went to the forest to meditate. There,
Prabu continued to pray, for gifted children. A few months later, their
wishes come true. Queen began to become pregnant. All the people in
the kingdom were very happy. They flooded the palace with the prize.
Nine months later, the Queen gave birth to a
daughter. Inhabitants of the land went back to the little princess sent
various gifts. The baby had grown into a cute boy. A dozen years
later, he had become a beautiful teenager.
Kebo Iwa was all great. Reach her legs very
wide, so that he can travel quickly. If he wanted to drink, Kebo Iwa stay
stuck a finger into the soil. So there was a small wells that release
water.
Prabu and Queen is very fond of his
daughter. They give her whatever she wants. But it makes it a spoiled

Days passed, Princess has grown into the most
beautiful girl in the whole country. In recent days, Princess will be aged
17 years. So the residents of the country went to the palace. They
carry a wonderful variety of gifts. Prabu collected the presents that very
much, and then store it in the court room. At times, he could use it for
the sake of the people.
Prabu only took some gold and jewels. He took
him to the jeweler. "Please, make a beautiful necklace for my
daughter," said Prabu. "With pleasure, Your Majesty," said
the jeweler. He then worked d as possible, with all my heart. He
wanted to create the most beautiful necklace in the world, because he loved
Princess.
Birthday arrived. Population of the country
gathered at the palace square. When the Prabu and Queen came, people greet
him with joy. Warm welcome more audible, when the beautiful Princess
appeared in front of everyone. Everybody admired her beauty.
Prabu then rose from his chair. Beautiful
necklace has been holding. "My daughter dear, today I give you this
necklace. This necklace of people from across the country. They love
you so much. They dedicate this prize, because they are happy to see you
grow into adulthood. Wear this necklace, boy, "said Prabu.
Princess accepted the necklace. Then he saw a
glimpse of the necklace. "I do not want to wear. The necklace is
ugly! "Cried Princess. Then she threw the necklace. The necklace
was broken. Gold and pearl scattered on the floor.
That is really surprising. Nobody thought,
Princess would do anything like that. No one spoke. There was
silence. Suddenly, she heard cries the Queen. Cries followed by
everyone.
Suddenly appeared from the courtyard
fountain. At first, forming a small pond. Then the court began to
flood. The palace was filled with water like a lake. Then the bigger
lake and drown the palace.
Now, the lake was called Telaga Warna. The
lake is located in the area of the peak. On a sunny day, we could see the
lake is full of beautiful colors and amazing. The color comes from the
shadow of forests, plants, flowers, and sky around the lake. But people
say, the colors came from the Princess necklace scattered at the bottom of the
lake.
